Are getting married
We met in New York in 2019 through our mutual friend Vicky Warwick (a fabulous musician and human). For the last seven years we’ve had more adventures and fun together than we thought possible.
If you’re reading this, you have been an invaluable contributor to our love story, and it would mean the world to us to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter with you.
Join us for a drink the evening before if you’re in town! It’ll be a laid-back warm-up to the weekend, and a great opportunity to see familiar faces before the main event.
We say our vows on the Williamsburg waterfront, with the skyline behind us. Dinner and dancing follow, through 9:30 PM.
An open invitation to extend the night! There will be plenty more music along with some late-night drinks and food.
A slow, unhurried morning to close out the weekend. Coffee and pastries are on us. Come as you are, stay as long as you like, and say your goodbyes over something warm before you make your way home.
We want to celebrate with you in style. We’d be delighted with tuxedos and floor-length gowns, but dark suits and cocktail dresses are on the menu, too. Our only ask is that whatever you choose, you feel good and can dance in it!
A fuller schedule will follow closer to the date. The ceremony time is settled, so you may plan your day around it.
We have arranged discounted rates at four hotels nearby. We have not held rooms at any of them, and December rates in the neighborhood only climb as the date draws closer, so we do encourage you to book once your plans are settled.
A rooftop hotel a few blocks from the venue, with Westlight upstairs and Leuca on the ground floor. This is where we will be staying, if you would like to be nearby.

Book with the code built inLoft-style suites in Greenpoint, run by the same team as the venue. Room for room this is the best value we found: a suite here often costs about half what a standard room runs at the others, and there is space to spread out. It asks a two-night minimum, and booking takes one extra step. Our afterparty is here, at Brooklyn Lantern.
VESPER, 25 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11249, on the Williamsburg waterfront. Taxis and rideshare drop off at the entrance. If you are driving, there is a parking garage in the basement of the venue itself, and street parking around the neighborhood.
Open in mapsLaGuardia is closest, roughly 20 to 30 minutes away. JFK and Newark are both around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Rideshare is the simplest way into Williamsburg from any of the three.
One small thing worth a minute of your time: if you carry a travel rewards card, do compare rates through your card's own booking portal before using a code. Several came out lower than the codes, and some carried perks like a late checkout.

The bagel we send everyone to. Naturally fermented, boiled fresh each morning, served open faced. On North 7th.
Delicious bakeryOne of the best bakeries in the city. The cardamom roll for something sweet, the smoked salmon sandwich for savory. Do go early, as the line builds quickly, and it is well worth beating. In Greenpoint.
Dinner plans?A beautiful Greenpoint restaurant and one of our favorites. Do not skip the labne and griddle bread.
Brooklyn-roasted coffeeLocal, industrial chic, and some of the freshest coffee in the borough. A gorgeous space to sit for a while.
Music and bowlingBowling, live music, and Blue Ribbon food under one roof. A go-to for groups and an unmistakably Brooklyn night out.
Movie night in?A dine-in independent theater with food and drinks at your seat. Get the popcorn and the chicken sandwich.
Having you with us in Brooklyn to celebrate is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. Because we have lived together in our apartment for a few years, we are fortunate to already have a home full of everything we need. Any of the four will serve you well. The William Vale sits closest to the venue, and it is where we will be staying, if you would like to be near us. Arlo and CODA are both lovely, and both an easy walk. The Box House is where we are having our afterparty. It’s also the clear value, with suites for roughly half what a standard room costs at the others, though it is the only one that will need a short car ride. Whichever you choose, do book early.
Yes, any time before October 15. Come back to this page on the same device and your reply will be waiting, filled in as you left it. Change whatever you like and send it again, and the new answer replaces the old one. If you reply from a different device, or you are not sure it went through, just fill it in again and we will take the most recent one. Replies are private: only the two of us can see them. December in New York is properly cold. Expect the 30s to low 40s Fahrenheit come evening. The venue is warm and there is a coat check, so you need only dress for the walk in.
There is, and it is convenient: a 275-car garage in the basement of the venue itself, so you can park and take the lift up. We highly recommend reserving a spot ahead of time through ParkMobile. There is street parking around Williamsburg as well, though it can be crowded. Rideshare and taxis remain the easiest way in and out.
